Official minimum investment 2026: tracker for 11 programmes

By Adi Hussain, founder of EKO Citizenship and Residency · Updated 21 October 2026

The short answer

In 2026 the lowest official minimum among these 11 programmes is São Tomé and Príncipe (from US$90,000 for a single applicant), followed by Dominica (from US$200,000). The five Caribbean programmes start from US$200,000 to US$250,000, and Türkiye from US$400,000 in property. For residency, Greece and Portugal start from €250,000 for specific routes, Cyprus from €300,000 and Malta from €375,000 to buy. Government and due-diligence fees are extra in every case.

How do I read this tracker?

  • “From” means the lowest qualifying amount the official source publishes for that route. It is not the total cost.
  • Government, due-diligence, passport and professional fees are extra and depend on family size.
  • Figures change. Each row names the official source we checked; if the source and this table differ, the official source applies.
